Recognition at the “Wybitny Polak w Niemczech” Gala in the Polish Embassy in Berlin

The “Wybitny Polak w Niemczech” gala at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Berlin was a truly special and deeply moving experience for me. I am very grateful for this recognition and especially thankful that my family could share this memorable evening with me.

What stayed with me most were the many conversations about science, innovation, and possible future collaborations with members of the Polish community. These exchanges showed me once again how much potential there is in new Polish-German partnerships, especially in the fields of digital medicine, artificial intelligence, and innovative health technologies.

I would be very glad to contribute to building stronger bridges between Freiburg, in particular Hahn-Schickard and the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Freiburg, and partners in Poland. I see great opportunities for future collaboration in research, translation, and innovation.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all organizers, including Polki w Berlinie e.V., the Fundacja Polskiego Godła Promocyjnego TERAZ POLSKA, the associated organizations, sponsors, jury members, and the Minister who travelled especially from Warsaw for the event.
